Valentin Huculici, born in Constanța, is a Romanian author and human rights advocate based in Craiova. He graduated in physical therapy and special motricity from the University of Craiova, work that showed him every day how fragile human dignity can be, and is certified in diplomatic protocol and strategic leadership by the US Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights. His book The Rights You Carry: A Complete Guide to Human Rights for Everyone grew out of what he saw around him: domestic violence and femicide, children harmed by the adults meant to protect them, workers registered for four hours on paper while working eight. Written in plain language and built on true stories, it is the first in a planned series on human rights.
